Overall supervision of the day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing, service coordination, training of staff, and development of policies and procedures for the NYS Early Intervention program. Collaborate on the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of employees and providers Review treatment plans and re-assessments Provide guidance and ensure adherence to best practices within the A Plus Early Intervention Program Participate in audits, reviews, and regulatory communication Plan and develop services as needed. Ensure compliance with all federal and state Early Intervention requirements. Supervise Service Coordinator department, including supervision, monthly in-service, and unit verification. Enforce the policies/procedures of the program. Consistently increase and maintain staff performance. Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and children. Interface with billing staff and insurance companies when needed. Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education/Credentials:
BA/BS in Business, Healthcare or Education (OT, PT, SLP, BCBA or Master's Degree preferred) Minimum 2 years experience in early intervention that includes serving children ages birth to five years of age, if the experience included direct delivery of services to children with disabilities and their families and, at least one year of delivery of services to children less than three years of age and their families. Supervisory experience required Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
