Overview Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. In this energetic role, you will serve as the key liaison between patients and the dental team, ensuring smooth communication, accurate treatment planning, and efficient administrative support. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment that encourages patient trust and satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health regulations and privacy standards. Duties Act as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through treatment options and scheduling appointments with enthusiasm and professionalism Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times Verify insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist patients with health insurance questions to facilitate seamless financial arrangements Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and hygienists, ensuring clarity and patient understanding of procedures and costs Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to confirm appointments, follow up on treatment plans, and address patient inquiries promptly Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and billing information in compliance with health regulation policies Support medical administrative tasks such as typing reports, updating records, and managing office correspondence to keep operations running smoothly Experience Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred; familiarity with dental office workflows is a strong advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication tasks Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy (such as HIPAA compliance) and insurance procedures Experience supporting medical administrative functions including patient management software (EMR/EHR), billing, and insurance claims processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patients Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care enhances effective communication within the team Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality while managing sensitive information efficiently Join us in creating a positive impact on our patients' oral health journeys!
