The organization provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health, housing, substance use, employment, education, case management, and reentry services. They are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join their Behavioral Health team and provide clinical leadership within an outpatient mental health and treatment services program. This is an excellent opportunity for an LCSW with strong clinical skills who is interested in combining direct patient care, clinical supervision, and leadership within a mission-driven organization.
Location:
Long Island City, NY Salary:
$85,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with one day per week from 12:00 PM-8:00
PM Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Position Overview for LCSW Clinical Supervisor The Clinical Supervisor will serve as a key member of the Behavioral Health team, providing clinical supervision, therapeutic services, crisis support, and guidance to clinical staff. The position will involve providing individual and group counseling to clients with histories of criminal justice involvement, supervising
LMSW/LMHC
staff, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and supporting the overall delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. The role is primarily based in Long Island City, with the opportunity to provide some telehealth services remotely. Occasional work at other program locations may also be required. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial client assessments and comprehensive psychosocial evaluations. Establish strong therapeutic relationships and maintain effective client engagement. Provide ongoing individual and group counseling. Develop and regularly update individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including completing case notes within required timeframes. Provide clinical supervision and ongoing support to clinical staff. Provide crisis support and participate in on-call coverage as needed. Assist with onboarding and training new clinical staff. Review and co-sign clinical documentation from LMSW and other unlicensed team members when appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Social Work or related clinical discipline. Active LCSW license required. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience . Experience working with individuals affected by mental health concerns, trauma, substance use, incarceration, or criminal justice involvement preferred. Previous clinical supervisory experience is highly desirable. Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. CASAC credential is a plus. SIFI certification is a plus.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
