Reporting directly to the President of Betsey Johnson, the Key Account Coordinator will support the Key Account Associate and broader sales team in driving business, maximizing sales opportunities, and building strong, profitable customer relationships. Supporting the Wholesale Footwear business, this is an exciting opportunity for a fashion-savvy and motivated individual looking to launch their career in sales. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and analyze weekly selling performance. Sending weekly selling deck to entire brand team.
- Assist the Key Account Associate on all Major Department store business needs
- Conduct localized store visits and provide insight to Key Account Associate and brand President
- Partner with Account Executives on Von Maur, DSW, Belk, HSN, Revolve and Anthropologie to analyze business, offer suggestions on driving sales and grow market share
- Assist the team with drop ship set up forms /copy forms, work with customer service regarding drop ship feeds and monitor sites to ensure all styles are live and pricing updated throughout the season
- Assist Key Account Associate on all business needs - Preparing reports, helping in market appointments, sample coordination, etc
- Investigate and contact potential new accounts for Betsey Johnson
- Attend sales meetings with sales team on and off site
- Travel to trade shows and assist sales reps and Key Acct Associate with sample shipping, set up and breakdown of the booth as well as appointments while professionally representing the brand Assist team in setting up the NYC showroom for market and other appointments
- Communicate with accounts, sales reps and vendors to maintain excellent customer relations.
- Informing customers of product and order information Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Create and maintain Line Sheets for Market as well as ATS on a constant basis
Support the team as a showroom coordinator by maintaining the NYC showroom owning sample shipping, showroom set up for market weeks, as well as customer style outs and overall showroom organization. Essential Duties Include Ability to conduct interpersonal interactions including selling, group presentations, etc.
Most decisions are made within company policy constraints, and some latitude exists. Decisions may impact others or the organization
Work responsibilities occasionally concern confidential and/or sensitive information requiring the use of discretion
Job duties are somewhat varied, occasionally requiring conceptualizing, planning and implementing
Highly organized, detail-oriented and time management skills essential
Under limited supervision, anticipates and solves problems for self and team
Has no supervisory responsibility, provides basic work direction usually one-on-one
Team player Ability to multitask and pivot as business needs change fairly quickly Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in customer service or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Retail Math background
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $65,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
