Island Sports Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned practice with eight locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties. We're currently seeking a professional, people-friendly candidate who can multitask in a busy medical office to join our team at our Nesconset practice. The ideal candidate may be required to work Saturday mornings and some evenings. Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and inviting attitude Answer and refer inquiries in person or on the telephone Schedule appointments and ensure patient satisfaction Generate reports and maintain accurate records Collect co-pays and reconcile credit extended to patients Call treating physicians to obtain updated prescriptions for treatment Obtain Plan of Cares from treating physicians and update the system Maintain patient records and files Manage business office inventory and equipment Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Qualifications:
One year of Physical Therapy/Medical office experience Experience with EMR systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and EMR Strong customer service orientation High school diploma or GED is required
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
