OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
: The Clinical Team Leader provides leadership, clinical supervision, and direct care within The Guidance Center of Westchester's school-based and community programs. This role supports both the delivery of high-quality mental health and addiction services to youth and families, and the professional development of an interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Team Leader maintains a clinical caseload, oversees day-to-day operations of service delivery sites, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a trauma-informed, strength-based, and inclusive culture of care.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
: Clinical Care Deliver comprehensive diagnostic assessments and individualized, trauma-informed treatment interventions. Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents within school-based and outpatient settings. Maintain a caseload and ensure care coordination, including crisis intervention and resource linkage. Participate in psychiatric care planning in collaboration with medical providers. Utilize both in-person and telehealth modalities, creatively engaging clients in their care. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation within electronic medical records (e.g., myEvolv, CPSE Portal). Supervision & Leadership Provide weekly clinical supervision to social workers, counselors, and interns. Monitor and review all documentation for regulatory compliance, clinical appropriateness, and billing requirements. Oversee performance evaluations, supervision logs, timesheets, and scheduling to ensure optimal team operations. Support supervisees in managing high-risk cases and navigating mandated reporting protocols. Participate in and facilitate staff development, including training on evidence-based practices. Administrative Oversight Serve as liaison with host schools and community partners to support service delivery and program expansion. Conduct candidate interviews and assist with hiring decisions in collaboration with HR. Complete chart audits and assist in internal and external audits (OMH, DOE, insurers). Attend and represent the organization in interagency meetings and special projects. Contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
:
Required:
NYS LCSW, LCSW-R, or LMHC;
Preferred:
CASAC-T or CASAC; Bilingual Spanish-speaking Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience (individual, family, group therapy), including 2+ years of clinical supervision Experience with school-aged youth and families facing trauma, poverty, addiction, and related challenges Familiarity with OMH regulations, HIPAA, SED mandates, and integrated behavioral health models Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
