The Director Major Gift Giving within the Foundation and Annual Gift Giving division will play a pivotal role in advancing philanthropic strategy for a hospital located in New York, serving as the premier tertiary hub of advanced care for a leading academic health system. Highly regarded for combining the cutting-edge medical capabilities of a massive metropolitan medical center with the accessibility and personalized touch of a regional hospital, this organization has achieved the prestigious CMS 5-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for the fifth consecutive year, placing it among the top 3% of hospitals nationwide. The Director Major Gift Giving will oversee donor relations, campaign strategy, prospect development, and stewardship programs while being supported by experienced development staff and engaged clinical partners who are passionate about advancing care. This role offers meaningful exposure to executive decision-making, board engagement, and cross-functional teamwork within a culture defined by compassionate professionals, friendly nurses, and collaborative interdisciplinary support.
