Job Description

is an award-winning brewery and taproom in Pleasantville, NY, producing European-influenced artisanal ales and lagers in small batches. As Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the taproom and help to develop an expanded food and drinks menu. This position will help to maintain exceptional customer experiences while also driving sales. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the taproom is appropriately staffed, clean, and comfortable, that all beverages and food are served appropriately and at their best, and that any unforeseen needs are addressed efficiently. This position is full-time, and may include tip and bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
This role combines administrative tasks, team leadership, and an active, guiding presence in the taproom. Lead everyday taproom operations, ensuring the highest level of hospitality and comfort for our guests, and for the success of team members. Recruit, train, and inspire staff to do the same by fostering a supportive, positive team environment. Ensure that customers receive prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner, and implement improvements as needed. Maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all patrons. Maintain a high standard of draft quality, cleanliness and organization throughout the taproom, bar area, and outdoor spaces. Participate in the development and implementation of an expanded food and curated cocktail menu. Implement and improve systems, SOPs, and workflows to increase efficiency and consistency throughout taproom operations. Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies. Ensure compliance with NY health, safety, employment and alcohol regulations. Plan, Manage and staff taproom, events, private events, and off-site events to make them memorable for guests. Review operating and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement across taproom operations. Participate in marketing and social media efforts to drive business and engagement. Serve as a "Brand Ambassador," representing our brand and ethos.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous hospitality, brewery, bar and/or restaurant management experience. Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing memorable experiences. Solid understanding of beverage operations, including inventory management and quality control. Knowledge of craft beer and other beverages, including styles, processes, and flavor profiles. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic accounting principles. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to safely lift and carry 25 pounds unassisted, and to push or carry 100 pounds with team or mechanical assistance. Ability to stand with frequent movement for long periods of time.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
