About Method Functional Medicine Method is a cash-pay functional medicine practice specializing in hormone optimization, TRT, HRT, peptide therapy, and advanced longevity protocols. We are opening our first physical location in Port Jefferson and are looking for the right person to grow with us from the ground floor. This is not a typical medical office job. Our patients are high-touch, results-driven, and investing significantly in their health. They expect a premium experience and so do we. The Role You will support the clinical side of patient visits and you handle the business conversations — scheduling, payments, and patient questions/concerns. Half of this job is clinical. Half of it is patient-facing communication that requires confidence, maturity, and the ability to explain practice policies while remaining professional. What You'll Do Clinical:

Room patients, take vitals, complete intake documentation Set up and assist with IM and SQ injections (TRT, peptides, B12) Maintain and restock exam rooms and supply inventory Prepare charts before each appointment Patient coordination: Answer phones and handle patient questions about services, protocols, and care Collect payments and relay cash-pay pricing and clinic policy Handle patient concerns and questions professionally Schedule new and returning patients in our EHR (OptiMantra) Follow up on outstanding lab results, invoices, and communicate with patients Manage day-of patient flow so the provider can focus on clinical care

What We're Looking For Non-negotiable:

Experience in a cash-pay, medspa, concierge, or functional medicine setting strongly preferred MA certification or medical background Prepare injections and medications for provider adminsitration or willing to learn Confident having conversations surrounding pricing, payments, and clinic policy Mature and professional Reliable, accountable, and on time Nice to have: Familiarity with functional medicine, TRT, peptides, or hormone therapy EHR experience (we use OptiMantra, will train the right person) We are not hiring for summer-only positions. Students in pre-med or healthcare programs are welcome to apply provided you are available year-round on the scheduled days and times — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — not just for the summer.
