The Opportunity As a Surgical Coordinator , you'll guide patients through every step of their surgical journey by: Scheduling surgeries and managing changes Educating patients on procedures and pre-op instructions Collecting and documenting patient and insurance information Coordinating medical clearances Performing IOL measurements and clinical testing Maintaining accurate EMR documentation Collecting patient payments Supporting physicians and delivering an outstanding patient experience What You'll Bring Excellent communication and customer service skills A compassionate, patient-focused approach Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment Ophthalmology or ocular pharmacology knowledge is a plus, but not required This role requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
