Job Description

Education/Experience Minimum Required:
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in an imaging modality Associate's Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or other Healthcare related field
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or other Healthcare related field?? Ten or more years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
License/Certification Minimum Required:
NYS license as Radiologic Technologist OR registration in one or more of the following imaging modalities: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Cardiovascular Credentialing international (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Work Environment All work is performed in two hospitals which consist of many rooms. These are air conditioned as well as heated; areas are occasionally subject to fumes. Age of Patients Served All Age Groups HIPAA RolesBased Access to Patient Information Clinical Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) Level 3. Staff Supervised Clinical Radiology Managers will oversee a combination of any of the following job profiles: Imaging Supervisors CT Technologists Ultrasonographers Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Technologists Vascular Lab Technologists IR Technologists Administrative Secretary 1 Info Analysts Radiology Assistants Quality Assurance Trainees, Coordinators, and Analysts
