Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at The HomeStead at GentleBrook Assisted Living and Memory Care. The working manager will lead a value-centered, high performing team committed to providing exceptional foodservice.
Dietary Manager Pay & Perks:
Starting at $20.00/hour
NO LATE NIGHTS
Every other weekend required Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Paid Time Off 401k with company match
Dietary Manager Requirements & Responsibilities:
Cooking from scratch daily. Knowledge of and ability to implement food service standards including menu development, meal prep procedures, sanitation procedures, food storage techniques, and staff management. Monitor temperatures, product freshness and quality according to company policies and health department recommendations. ServSafe Food Manager certification strongly preferred but not required.
Dietary Manager Qualifications:
Experienced at planning, organizing, developing, and directing overall operational functions. Knowledge of current state and local guidelines regulating food service operations. Experience as kitchen manager with at least one year of front of the house and back of the house management experience. Knowledge / previous experience working with special diets (pureed, mechanical soft). Proven history of success in a hospitality or healthcare setting along with strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills. Ability to understand financial reports and budgets as well as capacity for planning and executing a strategic vision. Should have the ability and desire to build a culture of high morale committed to meeting and exceeding departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
