Job Description

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead a team providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. In this role, you will oversee counselors delivering individual and group therapy, ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, and support high-quality, patient-centered care. You will review treatment plans and documentation, provide clinical guidance and crisis support, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and foster a compassionate, ethical, and learning-focused environment that supports both patient recovery and staff growth. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor a team of substance use disorder counselors Oversee delivery of individual and group counseling services Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Review and approve treatment and recovery plans Provide case consultation and crisis support as needed Coordinate care with medical and interdisciplinary team members Monitor documentation quality and timely recordkeeping Support staff training, performance feedback, and development Promote a patient-centered, compassionate care environment Contribute to program improvement and quality initiatives Required Skills Clinical supervision Substance use disorder counseling Opioid use disorder treatment Treatment planning Group counseling facilitation Clinical documentation Regulatory and compliance knowledge Crisis intervention Interdisciplinary team collaboration Electronic health records (EHR)
