This is not a traditional clinical nursing position. The ideal candidate combines a strong medical background with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with patients considering advanced regenerative medicine treatments. Our patients are typically seeking alternatives to surgery, chronic pain medications, or continued conservative care. The Patient Care Coordinator plays a critical role in helping them understand their condition, the physician's recommended treatment protocol, expected outcomes, treatment options, and financial investment. What You'll Do You will meet one-on-one with prospective patients following their medical evaluation and explain the regenerative medicine treatment plan recommended by the provider.
Responsibilities include:
Educating patients about regenerative medicine treatments, including PRP, biologics, and other advanced treatment options offered by the practice Clearly explaining the provider's recommended treatment protocol in easy-to-understand terms Helping patients understand how the recommended treatment may address their specific condition and goals Building rapport and confidence with prospective patients Answering questions and addressing concerns regarding treatment, recovery, expectations, and cost Discussing treatment investments that typically range from $3,000-$12,000 Comfortably discussing payment options and helping patients work through financial concerns Following up with patients who need additional time to make a treatment decision Coordinating patients who elect to begin care Maintaining accurate documentation within the practice management system Working closely with providers and clinical staff to create an exceptional patient experience Who We're Looking For The successful candidate will be someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients make important healthcare decisions. You should be comfortable having detailed conversations with patients, answering difficult questions, and guiding someone from uncertainty to confidence regarding their treatment.
Ideal qualifications include:
LPN, RN, Medical Assistant, or other healthcare background strongly preferred Experience in orthopedics, pain management, chiropractic, physical medicine, regenerative medicine, medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, dentistry, or another elective/cash-based medical environment is a major plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple, understandable language Confident discussing treatment costs and financial considerations Comfortable working with patients considering significant out-of-pocket healthcare investments Ability to listen carefully, identify patient concerns, and provide thoughtful solutions Professional, polished, compassionate, and highly organized Strong follow-up skills Self-motivated and results-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical practice The Right Personality We are particularly interested in candidates who are warm, confident, persuasive, and comfortable leading a conversation .
