Job Description

Otterbein Senior Life seeks a compassionate Assisted Living Coordinator to support older adults in a faith-based, resident-centered community. In this role, you will assist residents with daily activities, mobility, and medication reminders while promoting dignity, safety, and independence. You'll monitor health changes, document care, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families. Responsibilities Provide compassionate daily support and personal care to assisted living residents Assist with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and mobility support Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report changes to nursing staff Support care plans in collaboration with nurses and therapists Document care and services accurately in line with policy and regulation Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote independence and dignity Communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team members Promote a safe, clean, and comforting environment for residents Uphold faith-based, resident-centered values in all interactions Required Skills Resident care and personal assistance Assisted living and long-term care practices Medication reminders and basic health monitoring Infection control and safety procedures Electronic and paper care documentation Communication with residents and families Team collaboration in interdisciplinary care Time management and task prioritization Observation and reporting of health changes Basic computer skills for charting and training
