Job Overview CarePatrol of Northeast Ohio is seeking an experienced Healthcare Marketing & Clinical Referral Relations Manager to develop and strengthen relationships with clinical referral partners throughout Northeast Ohio. This position focuses on building meaningful, long-term relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation facilities, physicians and physician practices, specialty hospitals, and skilled home healthcare companies. The ideal candidate understands the healthcare referral process, knows how to identify and reach the people who influence referrals, and can earn credibility with clinical professionals. We are looking for a true relationship-builder—not someone who simply drops off brochures. The primary market is Cuyahoga County. The territory also includes Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga, northern Summit, northern Portage, and eastern Lorain counties. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with clinical referral sources throughout the assigned territory Conduct regular in-person visits with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation facilities, physician practices, specialty hospitals, and skilled home healthcare companies Identify the individuals who influence or control referrals within each organization Navigate healthcare organizations professionally to secure meetings with decision-makers and referral influencers Educate referral partners about our services and how we support patients, families, and healthcare professionals Identify new referral opportunities and create strategies for developing those relationships Maintain consistent, valuable follow-up with referral partners Serve as a reliable and responsive point of contact for healthcare professionals Coordinate presentations, educational programs, meetings, and outreach activities Represent the organization at healthcare events, conferences, professional meetings, and networking functions Track contacts, visits, follow-up commitments, referrals, and results using a CRM Monitor referral activity, market trends, and competitive developments Collaborate with leadership and internal team members to ensure a strong experience for referral partners and the individuals they refer Meet established outreach, relationship-development, and referral-growth goals Qualifications At least two years of healthcare marketing, business development, provider-relations, clinical liaison, or referral-development experience preferred Experience working with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation providers, physicians, specialty hospitals, or home healthcare organizations Understanding of healthcare referral processes and clinical relationship development Existing professional relationships within the Northeast Ohio healthcare community are strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to identify and gain access to referral influencers and decision-makers Strong interpersonal, presentation, networking, and follow-up skills Ability to establish credibility with physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, practice managers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals Self-motivated and comfortable initiating conversations and developing new relationships Organized and capable of managing a large geographic territory independently Comfortable using email, G suite, CRM platforms, and other business technology Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be professional, persistent, strategic, and comfortable working independently. Compensation and Schedule $80,000 annual base salary Additional commission based on performance Full-time position Primarily Monday through Friday Occasional early-morning or evening networking events may be required Field-based position with frequent local travel
