We are looking for an organized, dependable, and energetic Medication & Medical Appointment Coordinator who can think on their feet, stay on top of details, and work alongside our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), clients, doctors, pharmacies, and residential teams. At Assured Health Services, we are redefining the way services are delivered to individuals with mental health and/or intellectual disabilities. Every day is different, and what you do matters!
What You'll Do:
Keep MARs accurate and up to date, and deliver/retrieve them from homes each month. Schedule and coordinate medical appointments , including taking clients to appointments as needed. Make sure all medical recommendations, referrals, and follow-ups are completed. Check in medications and make sure they get to the correct homes and clients. Monitor medication supplies and ensure clients never run out of medications . Track medication orders, expiration dates, instructions, and side effects. Send medication consultations and updates to residential teams. Monitor and respond to MyChart messages from healthcare providers. Keep staff and healthcare providers in the loop! Maintain accurate documentation and help ensure services meet required standards.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Organized and detail-oriented. Dependable and great at following through. A strong communicator. Comfortable juggling multiple tasks. A problem solver who can think on their feet. Comfortable working with clients, staff, doctors, pharmacies, and families. Positive, energetic, and ready to jump in and help! Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred OR 3 years of equivalent work experience. Healthcare, mental health, developmental disability, or residential experience preferred.
