Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Support Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and providing support for Client Care Specialists working in extended care residential treatment. This position will maintain close communication with clinical staff, nursing staff, and administration and will be responsible for monitoring the ongoing operations of extended care facilities to ensure appropriate supervision and safety protocols. This is a salaried position at $38,480 annually with an additional bi-weekly phone allowance, with a
REQUIRED 25
% productivity goal.
Qualifications/Credentials:
Active CDCA certification is required and should have at least two (2) years' experience in an alcohol/drug treatment facility. Candidate must have a minimum education level of a high school diploma.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Under direction of the supervisor, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the agency.
  • Complete shift schedule for all Client Care Specialists in extended care residential treatment.
  • Collaborate with clinical managers and medical staff to meet client treatment needs.
  • In coordination with Human Resources and at the direction of the supervisor, oversee the hiring process to include interviewing, onboarding, and training process.
  • Develop training manuals, guides, and schedules for new hires.
  • Develop, implement, and update training checklists.
  • Support and encourage staff development in areas of substance use disorders and mental health.
  • Assist in after-hours' scheduling, i.e. call offs, schedule changes, location changes. Ensuring proper staff to client ratios and licensure coverage.
  • Maintain confidential information per requirements of HIPAA and CFR42.
  • Complete census reports, incident reports, and additional reports or forms deemed necessary.
  • Monitor clients and visitor movements inside and outside the facility.
  • Control contraband in the facility through general observation; this may include conducting searches as directed by management.
  • Ensure all clients' medications are stored in separate, labeled containers in a locked medication cabinet.
  • Participate in and obtain certification in crisis management and first aid/CPR.
  • Coordinate with Client Care Specialists and supervisor in emergency situations.
  • Provide onsite ground support for Client Care Specialists.
  • Complete monthly building inspections.
  • Review security footage as needed.
Qualifications/Credentials:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid Ohio driver's license with less than four points. 3. Strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills. 4. Computer competency. 5. Ability to work flexible hours. 6. Willingness to work with a team of staff members to provide client care. 7. Experience in a residential setting is preferred. 8. Ability to handle crises situations in a calm fashion.

$38,480.00 per year
