Job Description
Regional Outreach Coordinator - Rural Healthcare Independent Contractor (1099) | $25/hour + Travel Reimbursement We are seeking an outgoing, self-motivated Regional Outreach Coordinator to support a growing healthcare program serving rural communities throughout Western and Northern Oklahoma . This is a field-based position ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, building relationships, meeting healthcare professionals, and helping connect rural communities with needed healthcare services. Responsibilities Conduct in-person outreach throughout assigned rural Oklahoma communities Develop and maintain relationships with home health agencies, hospitals, clinics, Rural Health Clinics, senior organizations, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other community partners Introduce healthcare services to potential referral and community partners Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations Attend community and healthcare events when appropriate Maintain organized records of outreach activities, contacts, meetings, and follow-up Identify new outreach and partnership opportunities throughout the assigned territory Provide regular updates regarding outreach activity and market opportunities Ideal Candidate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable traveling extensively throughout rural Oklahoma Highly organized and able to work independently Professional and dependable Comfortable approaching healthcare organizations and developing new relationships Familiarity with healthcare, home health, senior care, medical sales, community outreach, or business development is strongly preferred Existing relationships with Oklahoma healthcare organizations are a major plus Compensation $25/hour - 1099 Independent Contractor Travel for approved outreach activities is reimbursed separately, including: Mileage reimbursement: $0.70/mile Approved hotel/lodging Approved per diem for qualifying travel This position involves significant regional travel. Applicants should have reliable transportation and be comfortable with occasional overnight travel.
