This role blends leadership with hands-on pharmaceutical care in a large hospital setting equipped with advanced technology and specialized centers.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance. Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed. Manage inventory, staff, and develop policies and procedures within the pharmacy. Support, mentor, and supervise clinical pharmacists and pharmacy personnel. Assist in managing the pharmacy during the Pharmacy Director's absence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles. Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. Compliance with applicable state requirements, such as sterile compounding. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire/transfer and before providing direct patient care. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college. At least 1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist. Experience in hospital pharmacy management.

ALS/ACLS

certification.
