Job Description

Job Title:
Front Office Coordinator Our medical office is seeking a skilled and organized Front Office Coordinator to manage patient scheduling and maintain appointment calendars. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, communicating with patients and healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate records. The Front Office Coordinator will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient service while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars Answer patient inquiries and provide necessary information regarding appointments and Insurance coverage Ability to check eligibility and benefits via provider portals Collecting co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and patient balances Communicate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Write letters at the request of the provider Maintain accurate records of patient appointments and medical records Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures Confirm patient appointments and remind patients of upcoming appointments Work with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and insurance information is collected Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a scheduling role Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical scheduling software Understanding of medical terminology and procedures Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Friendly and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, and reach This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
