Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Clinic and Operations Manager to lead the daily functions of our small family-owned primary care and functional medicine clinic as we continue growing in our 9th year of business in the Columbia Gorge. This pivotal role combines clinical oversight with operational excellence, ensuring smooth practice management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong mindful and compassionate leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and expertise in managing teams and administrative systems. Your energy and proactive approach will foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of healthcare delivery. A high level of self awareness and emotional intelligence is required. Duties Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient management, staff supervision, and administrative functions Manage financial activities such as budgeting, billing, coding, and medical billing processes to ensure fiscal health of the practice Supervise healthcare staff including Medical Assistants, administrative support personnel, and clinical team members to promote high performance and compliance with policies Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA Utilize electronic health records (we use Elation Health) for accurate medical records management and patient data security Coordinate with medical providers and team to optimize patient flow, utilization management, and clinical workflows Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development Maintain compliance with health regulation policies while managing clinic licensing requirements and safety protocols Support medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient records management, and medical billing support Experience 3+ years of healthcare clinic operations, management, or administrative experience Experience with Functional Medicine - personally or professionally Proficiency with EHR systems Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership experience managing medical support staff Professional written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and prioritize multiple tasks Commitment to personal health and wellness Join us in leading a vibrant healthcare team where your expertise will make a meaningful difference!
