Job Description

Job Summary:
Cascade Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center is a specialty clinic located in The Gorge. We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team with work locations in the Hood River and The Dalles clinics. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires travel to The Dalles clinic 1-2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
  • Schedule appointments for patients using our electronic scheduling system
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
  • Maintain patient records
  • Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, e-mails, and faxes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Familiarity with medical records management and scheduling systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and patience
Pay:
$20.00
  • $23.
00 per hour
