The ideal candidate will possess a strong background community based care settings. This leadership role requires exceptional management skills, a deep understanding of the role of the RN in long term care, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative environment for both staff and residents. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the Health Services department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with best practices and promote quality resident outcomes. Supervise health services staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to foster professional development. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care. Monitor resident progress through regular assessments and documentation review while maintaining accurate medical records. Hold delegation for unlicensed assistive personnel. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Proven experience in long term care settings; Assisted Living and/or Memory Care. Strong management skills with experience in supervising health services staff and leading teams effectively. Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on resident-centered care and team collaboration. Proficient in documentation review processes and resident monitoring techniques.
