Summary:

Responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across the core functions of Patient Access Services (PAS) & Patient Financial Services (PFS) to ensure consistent quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Provides direct ownership and accountability for sourcing, obtaining, processing, auditing, and analyzing the quality of work performed by Revenue Cycle colleagues within assigned PFS or PAS operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in patient access, patient financials, or revenue cycle operations.
• 2+ years of conducting quality review audits of PFS colleagues' work, deficiencies of workflow, and account resolution across key Revenue Cycle functions. These include Billing & Follow-Up, Customer Service, Payment Resolution, and Payment Posting.
• Demonstrate strong motivation; excellent communication skills (written/Verbal); computer skills, critical thinking, reasoning ability, organizational skills, multi-tasking, flexibility, and excellent customer service.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, medical terminology, and healthcare billing. Familiar with hospital regulations; strong problem solving, attention to detail, and stay calm under pressure.
• CHAM, CHAA, or similar certification.
