Job Description

The Patient Experience Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in shaping their journey with us. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with patient engagement, ensuring each person who walks through our doors receives compassionate service, clear communication, and a smooth care experience. Key Responsibilities Patient Engagement & Communication Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming environment. Serve as the primary point of contact for patient questions and concerns. Educate patients about clinic services, scheduling, insurance, and billing processes. Conduct follow-up calls, appointment reminders, and patient satisfaction surveys. Scheduling & Administrative Support Manage appointment scheduling for efficiency and provider availability. Verify insurance benefits, process intake forms, and maintain accurate patient records. Support billing processes and assist patients with understanding their accounts. Track cancellations, no-shows, and follow up to encourage consistent care. Clinic Operations & Quality Initiatives Monitor patient satisfaction and collaborate with leadership to improve services. Support patient retention and community outreach initiatives. Contribute to special projects, events, and patient appreciation activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in healthcare office administration, customer service, or hospitality strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinic setting. Familiarity with EMR systems, medical terminology, and insurance processes a plus. Core Competencies Compassionate, professional, and approachable demeanor.
