Description As a Mechanic Technician, you will be part of the Repair Operations team supporting the shop maintenance and equipment rebuild department. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization. Assist an experienced mechanic with the repair and maintenance of mining equipment, including gearboxes, sprockets, and hydraulic components.
Clean parts, perform equipment teardowns, and prepare components for inspection and assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain basic work logs and support shop organization and safety initiatives.
Operate forklifts and overhead lifting equipment as needed to move materials and equipment.
