Job description Better Home Care is a provider of a variety of services from visits to shifts for technology dependent, medically unstable, or vulnerable individuals in their place of residence, enabling them to live as independently as possible. BHC is a Medicare/Medicaid certified and Joint Commission accredited agency. We provide comprehensive home care services in Greater Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. Home Health Care Deputy Administrator:
Must be a Registered Nurse in good, standing, holding a current license to practice in Pennsylvania. Must hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing with three years of supervising professional experience in home health. ( preferred ) Knowledge of federal, PA regulations, and JCAHO accreditation requirements.Responsibilities :
Ability to implement the nursing process in all settings. Leadership and supervisory expertise in Home Health. Assists to ensure Agency policies and procedures and industry standards and regulations are followed: federal, state, or local regulation. Ability to work effectively in a bilingual team environment. Verbal and written communication skills in English. Display a positive image while working in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer software skills with an ability to multi-task. Supervise work activities of employees. Assists with the coordination, evaluation and planning of homecare services. Assist with administrative activities and optimal use of resources. Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic plans, goals, and objectives. Assists to ensure Agency policies and procedures and industry standards and regulations are followed: federal, state, or local regulation. Exceptional leadership, supervision, communication and follow up skills. Ensures accuracy with resident billing, processes billing and collects delinquent accounts with Finance. Facilitates interdisciplinary communication and acts as a staff liaison to provide necessary guidance. Works in cooperation with administration, quality assurance, finance, and clinical staff to implement the company's mission and ensure provision of quality care.Medical specialties:
