About us Modern Pediatric Dental Office office in Leola, PA in search of a Front Desk Coordinator/GA. We are committed to providing a professional, caring, and safe environment for our patients and team. We are seeking an organized and friendly Front Desk/GA Coordinator with a background in Dental Insurances to join our team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our front desk, ensuring smooth patient flow and providing excellent customer service. Your dental knowledge will be essential in addressing patient concerns, coordinating treatment plans, and communicating effectively with both the dental team and patients. You will be scheduling surgeries and talking to the surgery center. The GA Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end scheduling and logistical coordination of surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia. This role serves as the primary liaison between the practice, patients, hospital/surgery center administrative staff, and clinical teams to ensure smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and optimal care coordination. Surgery Center Schedule surgical cases and block times with outpatient surgery center Submit required clinical documentation, history and physicals (H&P), consent forms, and insurance pre-authorizations to the surgical facility ahead of deadllines. Serve as the main point of contact for facility schedulers, charge nurses, and anesthesia teams regarding schedule adjustments, case lengths, or equipment needs. Patient Care & Communication Guide patients and families through the surgery steps Administrative & Insurance Operations Obtain prior authorizations and coverage clearance for dental insurance Track and update the internal surgical calendar, ensuring clear communication with the surgery center and Smile Squad Front Desk Insurance Process Verifying the patient's health insurance benefits Reviewing insurance benefits with patients Submit insurance claims Dental Billing Front Desk Posting payments Tracking insurance claims
Case/Treatment Presentations :
Engage in treatment discussion with patient's parents using compassion, professionalism, and expertise to effectively convey treatment options, concerns, and costs.
