Clinical Biomarkers & Diagnostics Manager - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Clinical Biomarkers & Diagnostics Manager - Remote for a position with a Global Biotechnology Company. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. In this vital role within the Precision Medicine Unit, the Contract Clinical Biomarker Lead will serve as a key member of the client's cross-functional product teams, driving biomarker strategies that align with Precision Medicine goals. The successful candidate is a highly motivated scientist with expertise in clinical biomarker research and drug development within the Obesity/Cardiometabolic space. You will develop and execute biomarker plans to measure pharmacodynamics, target engagement, efficacy, and patient stratification.

Responsibilities:

Lead development and execution of comprehensive clinical biomarker strategies for pharmacodynamics, target engagement, and patient stratification for cardiovascular disease programs Serve as an independent scientific contributor on projects/programs Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to enable biomarker strategy alignment and delivery of high-quality biomarker datasets Oversee assay readiness, vendor management, and biomarker data generation Contribute to the drafting and review of clinical study documents, including study protocols, informed consent forms, clinical study reports, and scientific reports Partner effectively with team members and cross-functional colleagues in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Requirements:

PhD in a relevant field required; PharmD, MD, or equivalent considered Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience Strong expertise in obesity and/or cardiometabolic disease and biomarker research Proven track record in clinical biomarker research and drug development Experience leading and integrating cross-functional and technical teams Experience overseeing vendors/CROs for biomarker assays and sample operations Desired skills: 5-7 years of relevant industry experience Experience supporting diabetes or cardiovascular indications Experience with clinical study documentation and regulatory submissions Global clinical development experience Pay range: $74.47 - $84.47 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
