Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and supervising a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapists, and support staff. The Clinical Director will champion evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis, and crisis management to foster positive outcomes for diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and those from various cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the clinical team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive mental health counseling, behavioral therapy, child & family counseling, and addiction counseling services. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case management, and treatment planning utilizing EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Implement and monitor clinical protocols aligned with best practices in social work, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and working with individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Provide direct supervision of clinical staff through regular meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development in areas like clinical supervision and behavioral management. Ensure accurate medical documentation, patient records management (including

ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD

coding), CPT coding for billing purposes, and data collection for research projects. Facilitate group therapy sessions and collaborate with families to support client-centered care plans. Manage emergency situations through crisis management strategies and crisis intervention protocols to ensure safety and stability for clients in distress. Promote a culturally competent environment by working with individuals from diverse backgrounds while upholding standards related to HIPAA and medical terminology. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and neurodevelopmental disabilities such as autism. Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience managing clinical teams within behavioral health or hospital settings. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and child & family counseling. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems; familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding standards. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with families; sensitivity to working with diverse populations. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health care; understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
