We proudly serve a diverse client population utilizing Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance plans. Job Description Summary At Psychotherapy Care Center, the Clinical Director (LCSW) serves as the clinical cornerstone of our organization, bridging the gap between high-level strategic clinical leadership and hands-on supervisory support. This role is designed for a seasoned clinician who possesses a deep understanding of the New Jersey mental health landscape and the unique challenges faced by individuals utilizing Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.

To support our growth, we are looking to for a Clinical Director to join our Clinical Performance team! We are looking for a motivated program leader who will play a key role in supporting and enhancing Psychotherapy Care Center's community care model — supporting patients with wraparound care psychotherapy and psychiatric needs. You will partner closely with the clinical team (LCSWs, LSWs, LACs, LPCs), finance, and market/clinic leadership to set program strategy, support the operating model, and drive performance across quality, transitions of care, on-site and remote care services. Ideally, you have a strong background managing value-based mental health programs, including transitions of care, care management, on-site/remote/telephonic care coordination operations. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for safeguarding the clinical integrity, ethical standards, and quality of care delivered across the entire practice. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of therapists (LCSWs, LSWs, LACs, LPCs), fostering a culture of continuous learning, trauma-informed care, and clinical excellence. Beyond supervision, you will drive the recruitment, credentialing readiness, and clinical onboarding of new counseling staff, ensuring our team scales effectively to meet community demands. This role requires a leader who is highly adept at navigating complex, systemic community issues—such as housing instability, domestic distress, and socioeconomic barriers—and translating these challenges into actionable, evidence-based treatment interventions. You will collaborate closely with the Practice Manager to align clinical workflows with insurance compliance standards, ensuring that documentation is audit-ready and that our services remain highly accessible and effective for the diverse populations we serve. If this role sounds exciting, apply, and let's start the conversation!
