Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) / Clinical Supervisor D & A Holdings Health Solutions LLC - Waldorf, Maryland Job Overview D & A Holdings Health Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our growing behavioral health practice in Waldorf, Maryland. The LCPC/Clinical Supervisor will play an important role in supporting the development and delivery of high-quality behavioral health services while helping strengthen our clinical, regulatory, and quality-improvement infrastructure. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys both direct clinical work and clinical leadership and wants to contribute to the continued development of behavioral health programs. The successful candidate will collaborate with organizational leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to promote excellent client care, strong clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, staff development, and continuous quality improvement. The LCPC will also participate in organizational readiness and ongoing compliance activities related to CARF accreditation and other applicable state, federal, payer, and regulatory requirements . Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and supervision to appropriate behavioral health staff in accordance with Maryland licensing and regulatory requirements. Conduct and/or oversee comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, individualized treatment planning, treatment-plan reviews, and discharge planning. Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based and person-centered approaches, including CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and other clinically appropriate interventions. Review clinical documentation to promote accuracy, medical necessity, quality of care, and compliance with organizational, payer, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Support the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical programs, workflows, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with psychiatric providers, therapists, case managers, rehabilitation staff, community providers, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care. Provide clinical guidance for complex cases, including clients experiencing psychiatric crises, co-occurring disorders, psychosocial challenges, and other high-risk clinical needs. Assist with crisis assessment, safety planning, appropriate referrals, and coordination with higher levels of care when clinically indicated. Participate in staff orientation, training, competency development, and ongoing clinical education. Promote consistent use of evidence-based practices and person-centered, recovery-oriented, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, utilization review, risk management, and clinical outcome-monitoring activities . Assist leadership with maintaining clinical standards consistent with CARF accreditation requirements , including preparation for accreditation activities, implementation of applicable standards, performance improvement initiatives, and ongoing organizational compliance. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, clinical case reviews, quality-improvement meetings, and other organizational activities as needed. Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with HIPAA and applicable professional standards. Qualifications Required:

Active and unrestricted Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in good standing. Master's degree or higher in counseling, clinical mental health counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health discipline from an appropriately accredited institution. Strong clinical experience providing behavioral health services to individuals with mental health conditions. Knowledge of clinical assessment, DSM-based diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, risk assessment, and evidence-based psychotherapy. Strong understanding of clinical documentation, medical necessity, confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional ethics. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians, psychiatric providers, administrative staff, clients, families, community partners, and organizational leadership. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing clinical supervision or serving in a clinical leadership role. Maryland Board approval or qualifications to provide clinical supervision, where applicable. Experience working in an outpatient mental health clinic, psychiatric rehabilitation program, community behavioral health program, or similar setting. Experience with program development, quality assurance, compliance, utilization review, or performance improvement. Familiarity with CARF accreditation standards or behavioral health accreditation processes is highly desirable. Experience participating in accreditation surveys, regulatory reviews, audits, corrective action plans, or organizational readiness activities is a plus. Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, families, and individuals with co-occurring behavioral health needs.
