Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor specializing in mental health to lead and support our team of licensed clinicians. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promote best practices across diverse therapeutic settings. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in mentoring clinicians, managing complex cases, and fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes growth, compliance, and excellence in behavioral health services. This position is fully compensated and requires a licensed professional with a passion for advancing mental health treatment. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), ensuring adherence to ethical standards and clinical best practices Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and progress documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral management, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) for diverse populations including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, and addiction Coordinate crisis intervention efforts, crisis management protocols, and emergency response procedures to ensure patient safety at all times Facilitate case management activities including intake assessments, treatment plan development, data collection, progress tracking, and discharge planning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support home & community care initiatives and integrate services across medical records systems using
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding for accurate diagnosis documentation Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as
HIPAA, CPT
coding standards, and medical terminology requirements while maintaining meticulous records of patient care Experience Proven experience in clinical counseling or behavioral health supervision within hospital or outpatient settings Strong background working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental delays Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention techniques Familiarity with medical documentation practices including ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT codes for billing purposes, and electronic health record systems Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using tools like PTSD Care protocols or other mental health assessment instruments Knowledge of special education frameworks or working within pediatric or pediatrics-related environments is advantageous Ability to manage complex cases involving mental health disorders like PTSD or substance use disorders while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations Join us in making a meaningful difference by leading compassionate care initiatives that empower individuals on their path to wellness.
