Reports To:
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Medical Director Position Summary Maryland Psychiatric Care, LLC (MPC) is seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight of outpatient mental health services. The Clinical Director will supervise LMSWs and MSW student interns while ensuring compliance with COMAR, Maryland Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and organizational policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision to LMSWs.
  • Provide field supervision for MSW student interns and complete university evaluations.
  • Review treatment plans, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Conduct routine chart audits and documentation reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with COMAR, Maryland Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and MPC policies.
  • Provide consultation regarding complex clinical cases and crisis intervention.
  • Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • Orient and train newly hired therapists and interns.
  • Develop staff education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
  • Monitor clinician productivity, documentation timeliness, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and executive leadership on clinical operations. Qualifications
  • Master of Social Work (MSW).
  • Current Maryland LCSW-C license in good standing.
  • Minimum three years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Experience supervising LMSWs and/or graduate interns.
  • Knowledge of outpatient behavioral health regulations, COMAR, CARF, and Medicaid requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 20-30- hours per week, hybrid (2 days per week in office) Performance Expectations Performance will be evaluated based on quality of supervision, documentation compliance, staff development, chart audit results, regulatory compliance, leadership effectiveness, and successful accreditation or payer audits.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
