Job Description

Job description: We are seeking a community clerkship assistant for the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Upper Peninsula Region Campus located in Marquette, MI. This is a student support position responsible for coordinating academic and clinical experiences for medical students during their clinical years of medical school.
Key responsibilities:
Preparing and implementing student rotations including contacting rotation sites, creating schedules, communicating with various UP sites, preparing material for students and teachers, and processing grades and evaluations. Maintaining student rotation files. Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements. Managing teaching appointment process for UP Campus physicians. Preparing documents including letters, evaluations, and reports. Coordinating the scheduling of medical student orientation. Preparing testing site and proctors exams. Assisting with onboarding students at clinical sites. Working closely with and attending meetings as part of the community campus system of MSU CHM.

Communication Organization Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to learn and be proficient in multiple computer programs Position Qualification Statement We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical education office or health-related field preferred. Post-high school vocational/specialized training and minimum of three years' office experience required. Must possess excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.
