Health Promotion Associate Corporate Fitness & Health (CF&H) is a corporate wellness company located in Marlborough, CT. We have been creating and implementing corporate wellness programs since 1985. We work with varying industries to improve the health of employee populations and aim to cut down on clients' medical spending. CF&H is looking to hire an individual who displays a passion for wellness to fill the role of health promotion associate.

Primary Duties:

• Perform health screenings at client sites
• Draw blood via Finger-stick technique (cholesterol, glucose), blood pressure, bioelectrical impedance scale (weight, body composition, estimated level of hydration)
• Extensive travel is required, including overnight trips.
• Follow up with high-risk individuals according to CF&H's protocol.
• Use CF&H's wellness portal to input biometric and lifestyle data, print reports, create/manage wellness programs, and keep individual session notes.
• Build rapport with clients' employees.
• Provide wellness advice to screening participants.

Additional Duties:

• Create and conduct live seminars for groups on various wellness topics.
• Stay "up-to-date" with health-related topics and issues.
• Be open to performing other tasks including but not limited to: management of wellness challenges, management of incentive campaigns, creating wellness displays, etc.
• Create promotional material as needed on a variety of wellness-related topics.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with participants in the form of health coaching, nutrition counseling or personal training.

Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in health promotion, exercise physiology or other health-related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including but not limited to word, excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred but not required:

• A certification in health coaching, personal training, smoking cessation or other health-related field.
• Experience conducting blood pressure checks and/or finger-stick tests.

Additional Information:

• Applicants must maintain a valid driver's license with access to personal and reliable transportation.

Starting Salary:

$45,000 - $50,000

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
