This position begins with a hybrid remote work model based in Oneonta, NY, providing flexibility as the specialty pharmacy location in Utica, NY, is under construction and licensing. Upon completion, the role will transition to a fully onsite leadership position in Utica, ideal for candidates comfortable with relocating or already residing in the area. As Specialty Pharmacy Manager, you will utilize your clinical expertise and leadership skills to manage pharmacy operations and drive excellence within a growing specialty pharmacy environment. This is a contract role with options for temp to hire or direct hire employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the pharmacy team to achieve operational goals Ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC) Oversee specialty medication management, including prior authorizations Collaborate with providers, patients, and internal teams to deliver exceptional care Support development of pharmacy processes aligned with specialty disease states such as oncology, HIV, infusion therapies, and rare diseases
