Job Description
ParaDocs Medical Revenue Center is a specialized medical billing company helping independent podiatry practices become stronger, more compliant, and more profitable. With over 20 years in the industry, we don't just process claims — we protect our clients' revenue and act as an extension of their office. Our team is small, sharp, and takes real ownership of the practices we serve. We are hiring a Medical Billing Account Manager to be the face and the brain of our client relationships. You'll be the person the practice calls, and the person who knows their numbers cold. This role blends relationship management, analytical review, and coordination across our billing team. It is not a call-center seat — it's a trusted-advisor seat. You'll thrive here if you stay calm under a heavy workload, get organized instead of overwhelmed, know what to say and when to say it, and are driven to be the best at what you do.
What You'll Do:
- Own a portfolio of podiatry practice accounts and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Review account performance, spot trends in revenue and denials, and translate the data into clear updates for the client.
- Communicate proactively and diplomatically, sharing the right information at the right time in a way that builds trust.
- Coordinate with our billing, coding, and AR follow-up team to make sure work gets done accurately and on time.
- Juggle multiple accounts and deadlines without letting anything slip through the cracks.
- Identify problems early and bring solutions, not just problems.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of medical billing / revenue cycle experience (podiatry a strong plus).
- Excellent, professional communication, clear on the phone and polished in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high volume without dropping the ball.
- Comfort with data: reviewing reports, spotting patterns, and explaining them plainly.
- Integrity, accountability, and a genuine drive to learn and improve.
A Plus:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or other) for client communication.
- Podiatry billing, insurance follow-up, or AR experience.
- Experience with practice management / billing systems.
