Job Description

Job Summary:
The Customer Account Manager at PackRoom, LLC is responsible for managing sales and customer relationships within the Partners Cooperative, Inc. network. This role focuses on the development, review, and implementation of Custom Procedure Trays (CPTs) to ensure clinical efficacy, cost efficiency, and excellent customer service. The Account Manager will collaborate with hospital clinical personnel, supply chain teams, and internal PackRoom departments to deliver tailored surgical solutions and maintain the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers regarding CPT sales quotes, development, and item or price changes. Work directly with clinical stakeholders (OR, OB/GYN, Cath Lab, Imaging) to understand needs and ensure CPT efficacy. Attend and participate in O.R. Committee meetings to stay informed on customer needs and surgical environment trends. Act as a project manager to coordinate CPT implementation and changes across clinical and supply chain departments. Provide component-level forecasts and communicate production-impacting issues to internal teams. Initiate QA complaint documentation and assist in prototype delivery and pre-signoff CPT adjustments. Collaborate with Partners Cooperative to gain contract knowledge at the vendor/item level.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nursing field, Licensed RN with OR and Trauma Services experience, Surgical Technician Certification or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in medical sales, specifically with custom packs/kits.
Experience:
Clinical experience required, comfort in operating room environments essential. Knowledge of sterile fields, surgical back tables, and clinical workflows. Experience communicating effectively with OR staff, clinical directors, and hospital leadership. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); Access a plus. Familiarity with GPOs, contracts, and vendor management is highly preferred. Must provide immunization documentation (negative TB test, flu shot or waiver).
Other Requirements:
Must live in the general Atlanta, GA area. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for daily travel to hospital sites.
