Job Description

Join our well-established and busy adult neuropsychology practice in Mount Kisco, NY as a Part Time Practice Coordinator (fully remote, except for training) , where you will help coordinate the operational and administrative functions of a collaborative clinical team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility to work from home while working in a meaningful healthcare setting. You will work closely with five neuropsychologists (3 part-time, 2 full-time) and play an important role in supporting patient care - primarily for a geriatric population . The position offers long-term, flexible, part-time hours and the ability to work remotely once training is complete , making it well-suited for an experienced professional seeking meaningful work with a balanced family-friendly schedule. Training will be provided, though familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes is a bonus.
Schedule Mondays:
3 to 4 hours am or early afternoon
Wednesdays:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Additional flexible hours as needed to complete weekly tasks Up to 15 hours per week The practice is closed most holidays Key Responsibilities Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations Follow up on unpaid or denied claims Answer phones, schedule appointments, and make patient calls on Wednesday Communicate with medical offices to obtain records and transmit reports Assist with coordinating operational needs for the clinical team Support patient relations with professionalism and empathy Qualifications Four Year College degree required Minimum 5 years of professional work experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Comfortable interacting with older adults Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time independently Solid computer and administrative skills Experience with medical billing, coding, insurance verification, or healthcare administration is a plus, but not required Located in or near Westchester County (some training will be conducted in person) What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is personable, patient, and proactive , with meticulous attention to details and ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
Compensation Hourly pay:
