We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused professional to join our team as a Patient Intake Coordinator . This role works collaboratively between our Billing Department and Front Office Team to ensure new patients experience a smooth, welcoming, and well-organized start to their care. Your work matters. Every registration completed accurately, every appointment scheduled thoughtfully, and every issue identified early helps create a seamless patient experience. One missed detail can create a domino effect—but proactive planning and careful attention can make all the difference. We're looking for someone who naturally thinks ahead, catches red flags early, and takes initiative before problems arise. You enjoy creating order in a fast-paced environment, balancing efficiency with accuracy, and helping patients feel supported every step of the way. Position Summary The Patient Intake Coordinator is responsible for supporting new patient onboarding, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and front office operations. This position functions interdepartmentally under the supervision of the Billing Manager and plays a key role in patient access and efficiency in workflow. What You'll Do Communicate with new patients by phone in a professional and compassionate manner Register and schedule new patient appointments Guide patients through the registration and onboarding process Review, update, and verify demographic and insurance information Assist with pre-registration and data accuracy Audit patient accounts for registration and insurance accuracy Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and call queue Support front office operations as needed Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient workflow
