Secondary Reviews as well as support audit related activities. May be asked to perform secondary mortality review. Performs special projects / Quality Improvement Initiatives. Assists to ensure clinical documentation is present and accurate. Utilizes internal and external benchmarking data to identify clinical documentation opportunities. Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem solving. Assures compliance with external and internal measures for these programs. May require occasional travel. • Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) OR Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) AHIMA certification OR Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) AAPC certification
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) AAPC certification

Preferred Qualification:
