Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center | Aiken, SC Aiken Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our Dietary Department at our skilled nursing facility in Aiken, SC . The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for directing, evaluating, and monitoring dietary department staff, including scheduling, hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee evaluations. Schedule Full-Time On-Site - NOT Remote Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dietary Department. Manage food service employees, including scheduling, hiring, coaching, and performance management. Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and make only authorized food substitutions. Prepare food according to standardized recipes and special diet orders. Review resident care plans as necessary to ensure dietary needs are being met. Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a Registered Dietitian. Monitor food quality, sanitation, safety, and meal service standards. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care. Conduct employee performance evaluations and address performance concerns as needed. Qualifications Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM). Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Prior dietary management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
