Full Job Description About Us:
Spruce MD Integrative Medicine is looking for a full-time Patient Coordinator to join our team. This is a patient-facing position. This position is responsible for working alongside our clinical team to help provide excellent patient care and streamline patient flow.
Schedule:
  • M-TH, 8:00-5:00;
F:
8:00-12:30
    Location:
    Charleston Office;
    In Person Responsibilities:
    • Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner.
    • Assist with billing and payment processing, including outstanding balances
    • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information to callers or visitors.
    • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects the company's brand and values.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper distribution.
    • Create a positive and memorable experience for clients and visitors by providing exceptional customer service.
    • Assist patients with appointment scheduling and any other requirements they may have.
    • Anticipate and address patient and visitor needs promptly, demonstrating attentiveness and empathy.
    • Communicate important announcements, updates, or changes effectively to patients and visitors.
    • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining records.
    • Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance for reception area.
    • Uphold the company's brand image and values through professional demeanor, appearance, and behavior.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
    Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
    • This is a non-management job that will report to the Practice Manager.
    Skills/Qualifications:
      Education:
      High School or equivalent (Required)
        Experience:
        Minimum of 1 year of customer service
          Other Skills:
          Time Management, Multitasking, Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills, Problem Solving Compensation:
