Job Description

7:30AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday Motivate team members to achieve high quality and productivity. Report progress of work request completion. Manage up requests that require outside support. Provide feedback to requestors on status of work requests. Requires a highly engaged positive attitude with responsibilities of team leadership, planning, scheduling, assessing, organizing and directing daily maintenance activities. Has awareness of code and regulatory requirements. Conducts regular safety rounds and ensures policies for safe practices are updated and utilized. Supports, initiates and facilitates energy conservation and environmentally responsible measures. Implements practices that meet productivity goals, limits overtime activity, and adjusts staffing needs. Maintains expenses not to exceed budget allowances. Fully supports hospital/departmental initiatives for change and leads by example for overall "Work Smarter" attitude. Evaluates and makes changes to processes for optimized efficiencies. Performs any other duties as requested by Facility Services management. Minimum 5 years experience in industrial/institutional maintenance. Certifications in Maintenance and Life Safety training preferred. Strong background in maintenance work order software management. Valid SC drivers license.
