Job description Building Independence Together (BIT) is a growing agency providing assent-based ABA services to individuals with autism in the Summerville, Moncks Corner, Goose Creek, and Charleston areas. Responsibilities include:

Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans Conducting skill assessments (PEAK, VB-MAPP etc) and developing skill acquisition treatment plans Developing treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to address challenging behavior, communication, social skills, independent living skills, feeding, etc Providing assent-based services Providing training and supervision to behavior technicians Providing training to parents and other family members Updating treatment plans in accordance with insurance requirements and medical necessity Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation Designing data collection systems and analyzing data to evaluate the progress of clients Collaborating with parents and family members, teachers, other service providers to promote the best outcomes for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attending monthly consultant meetings Attending annual staff trainings

Requirements:

Appropriate Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree BCBA/BCaBA certification required Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other behavioral needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups including children, families, and other medical professionals Knowledge of best practices and current research in the field Must have reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Passion to provide assent-based clinical services
