What You'll Do As Clinical Coordinator, you'll provide operational leadership during the PM shift, ensuring smooth patient throughput and high-quality care. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges Delegating care and coordinating staffing based on acuity and skill mix Supporting bedside nursing through coaching, mentoring, and accountability Collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals Ensuring compliance with infection control, medication safety, and documentation standards Leading performance improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice Promoting patient education, independence, and advocacy Maintaining confidentiality and ethical decision-making in all aspects of care Qualifications BSN required (ADN/Diploma considered if enrolled in RN-to-BSN/MSN program with completion expected within 12 months) Minimum 2 years of specialty experience within the past 5 years Current RN license in South Carolina National nursing certification in specialty (or obtained within 6 months of hire) About the

Our Surgical Stepdown Unit provides cardiac-monitored, intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from complex surgical procedures. Nurses in this unit manage a diverse and challenging patient population with advanced post-operative needs.
