Duties Lead and supervise culinary teams in preparing high-quality meals that meet dietary requirements and nutritional standards. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food production, food service management, and catering activities within the healthcare facility. Manage inventory control and procurement processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Implement and uphold strict food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas. Plan menus in collaboration with dietitians and healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Coordinate shift schedules, monitor team performance, and provide training to foster a motivated, efficient workforce. Skills Extensive banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale catering events within healthcare or hospitality settings. Expertise in food production, food handling, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, cost control strategies, and food industry best practices. Experience in fine dining or restaurant management is advantageous for elevating meal presentation standards.
