About Eyecare Plus Since 1993, Eyecare Plus has remained Middle Tennessee's largest doctor-owned eyecare provider. With 6 locations and a long-standing reputation for excellence, we pride ourselves on delivering professional, high-quality vision care. We are currently seeking a people-oriented professional with strong communication skills to join our growing team. The Role As the Patient Coordinator , you are the face of our practice. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring a seamless check-in process, and managing the administrative flow of the office. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at multitasking and enjoys providing top-tier patient service.
Essential Functions Patient Concierge:
Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the sign-in process, and assist with all necessary intake paperwork.
Insurance & Records:
Verify patient insurance coverage and accurately update patient records within our office software.
Communication:
Handle high-volume phone lines, schedule appointments, and communicate professionally with both patients and co-workers.
Administrative Support:
Perform general data entry, various receptionist duties, and other tasks as assigned to support the practice.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain a clean, professional work area and work collaboratively as a team to ensure the best possible patient experience.
Requirements Experience:
Previous receptionist experience is a plus, but not required. A background in patient care is highly valued.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry.
Professionalism:
Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Availability:
Saturdays are required.
Compliance:
Ability to pass a standard background check.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year (includes commission opportunities).
